Split-Dalmatia County is an administrative-territorial unit in Central Dalmatia with its headquarters in Split. Split-Dalmatia County is the largest county in Croatia by area. The county is connected to the rest of Croatia by the recently built four-lane Split-Zadar-Karlovac-Zagreb highway, as well as the Lika railway.
