A specific characteristic of the Sibenik area is vicinity of the two national parks, Krka in the North and Kornati on the sea side. Its geographical position makes it accessible from all other areas of the country and from the world. Traffic connections of all types, land, air and sea ones, are very good. Sibenik stagnated in the economic sense in the non-wanted war, which was imposed to this country, but it has managed to save its cultural treasure: rich folkloric activities, a unique International Child's Festival, its theatre life, exhibitions in the duke's palace which is the town museum today, its folcloric music, Cultural and performing society "Kolo", magnificient group singing ("Klape"), and what is most importarit its widfey open heart to receive you in this beauty and make you feel as You're in yuor own corner of the paradise.
